Cooper + Millie

Cooper and Millie are MARRIED!! They had a beautiful wedding at Cormorant Lutheran Church in Cormorant Minnesota and a reception at Fair Hills Resort in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

Millie is from Thailand and the family was recording the service so her family back home could watch her getting married. One tradition that Cooper wanted to include was the Wedding Tea, once you combine tea with water you can’t separate them which binds them together. After they have prepared the tea they share it with their families. It was beautiful to witness this tradition. The grooms mother also played her viola during the ceremony! Seeing both families represented in their own traditions brings the two together as they start this new chapter in their lives.

After the ceremony every went to the Fair Hills Resort in Detroit Lakes Minnesota. A gorgeous location to have the dinner. All of the flowers were blooming and it created a wonderful backdrop for their wedding portraits. Her colors were pink and there were sparkles of pink in the bridesmaid’s dresses and throughout the decorations at Fair Hills Resort in Detroit Lakes, MN. With the flowers in the background and her pink colors everyone stood out and looked beautiful for Wedding party portraits after the ceremony.
