Tell me, does this sound familiar to you? You and your family are all together and you think we should really get group photos of everyone! You are having a great time, and want to have photos with your parents, and all your siblings, all your children at a young age; but tell yourself next year you will do it. How do you plan it for next year?
Pick Your Date
Is there a yearly event where everyone comes together? Maybe it falls on a holiday; 4th of July, or everyone gets together on the weekends at the Lake! Planning a special surprise for someone and want group photos? Just like sending out invites to your party get people to let you know if they can make it because you have something extra going on that day!!
Find a date that works for everyone and get on the calendar of your photographer early. The earlier the better for summer sessions!
Get on the books, and then know that you have one thing checked off your to-do list.
Your Photo List
This is an area that I go over with every session, extended family or not. What are the group photos? Some ideas being:
Your list might be different than this; and that’s why it is so important to go over what you need as a family. Think of what your wants are and if there is an addition just let me know before the session is over.
Have FUN!!
